An infographic is a way to communicate information in a quick and easy way with a combination of images or graphics and few words.
Instructions
1. Select a topic related to infancy or toddlerhood. Some possible topics might be:
gender-neutral parenting
co-sleeping
child care
cash payments
breastfeeding
vaccinations
circumcision
or any other topic that interests you
2. Do some background research, and then find at least two research articles that provide more insight into that topic. You may also reference information from national organizations that focus on child development (American Academy of Pediatrics, UNICEF, etc.). You must use reliable sources and good science.
Please note that YouTube videos, Wikipedia, Podcasts, and blogs will not be accepted as reliable sources.
Remember that you are expected to read these resources, so books are not the best choice for the sake of time.
3. Pick out some interesting information from your research and create an infographic with that information.
Your infographic must include
At least four facts about your topic in your own words. Please do not use any direct quotes.
A minimum of two images (pictures, charts, and graphs all count as images). Please make your graphics or charts easy to read.
Please note that using another infographic as a graphic or chart will not be accepted.
4. Include your references in APA or MLA format either at the bottom of the visual or on a separate page
