Short paper assignments should be up to 1500 words (2-3 pages) and structured as a critique of 3 peer-reviewed articles or book chapters covered in the lead-up to the assignment.
The critique/response paper should include:
1. Chosen focus for the paper (paper topic that is stated clearly)
2. Brief summary of the authors’ main arguments,
3. Your critique towards the chosen works.
You are expected to connect the author’s ideas and/or concepts in the readings with real examples taken from society, media, art, literature, or whatever – just think expansively!
Don’t forget to add in-text citations for ALL direct quotations e.g. (author last name, year of publication, page number)
And a full reference list for all sources used.
