I have the information included the interview document. and I also included how I would like the genogram to be broken down.
instructions
This week, you will be doing an assignment in pre-arranged pairs. You can find your partner by going to the “People” tab in Canvas and selecting “Module 9 Groups.” You will each be making your own submissions to Canvas.
After watching the videos on constructing genograms and eco-maps, you and your partner will create a genogram based on the other’s family. If you feel uncomfortable having a partner create a genogram of your own family, choose a favorite book or TV show character and have your partner construct a gengoram for them (like in the example genogram video). To create a genogram, please do the following:
Interview your partner about their family (or their chosen character’s family) using the techniques from this week’s readings and videos over a recorded video call such as through Zoom.
You will record the video for your records and so you can refer back to what your partner says, but you do not need to submit the recording.
Once you have interviewed your partner, use their answers from the interview to create a genogram for their family only, not yours
You may draw your genogram by hand and take a picture, or use a genogram software such as GenoPro Links to an external site..
Once you finish the genogram of your partner’s family, upload it to this submission space. (You are not submitting either the video or a genogram of your own family.)
