Part 1:Hello All,
For this discussion board I want you to review the materials for this week on the American Revolution. In particular focus on the American Insurgents Text. Remember your initial response is due by Thursday at 11:59 PM. You also need to respond to at least two other students. The two student responses are due by Sunday at 11:59 PM. Your initial response must be a minimum of 250 words. Responses to fellow students must be a minimum of 100 words.
Please select one of the following questions and respond:
1) Describe the difference in strategies between the British and Revolutionaries in the war.
2) Describe how local events often shaped how individuals saw the Revolution (perhaps use the example of Matthew Patten), its causes and their reasons to fight.
3) After reading the American Insurgents Text, what do you think is meant by the term insurgents, and how did this resistance lead to a revolution? 4) What were some of the impacts of the American Revolution.
I hope to enjoy your responses soon!

Part 2 Goal
I would like for you to look at another Career Assessment and Research tool, California Career Zone. You may have already used and seen this before, but I’d like for you to see it again. There are a lot of similarities in the various Career Assessments I have shown you in class. This is because they all point to the O*Net which is the governmental site on Careers and Occupations. The various assessments I have given you are all designed to point to this website for Career and Occupation information with different web platforms and design tools to make it easier for your to research and find information. The reason why I am having you explore a variety of tools is so you can bookmark these and go back to them again and again during your college and career journey. You get to choose which ones to explore and go back to when you are searching, deciding and gathering information. Please log into California Career Zone and take a look at these features:
