Critical appraisals (Quantitative)
Your quantitative article should be one of the 12 articles chosen for your experiential report, specifically related to your PICOT question. It must be current, within the past five years, and directly relevant to your topic. The critical appraisal of selected research articles is an essential step in ensuring the quality of your selected works. To publish a review should you choose to do so in the future, you are required to critically appraise each article included. However, for this course, you are asked to critically appraise a limited number of research articles obtained from your comprehensive database search. The first critical appraisal requires you to select one quantitative peer reviewed research article from your database search.
PICOT question related to the NICU:
P: In neonates requiring respiratory support in the NICU,
I: how does the use of non-invasive ventilation (such as CPAP)
